THE LOBSTER CRAWL CHALLENGE
Take the Sherose Island Nature Trail and find them all! There are 25 total lobster rocks scattered along the Sherose Island Trail. Find them, turn them over and record the letter on your paper. All words are color coded- there are 5 words. Unscramble the letters to create words associated with lobster! Submit your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop them off at the Recreation Department (27 Park Lane) or Barrington Municipal Administrative Building (2447 Highway 3, Barringotn NS) by March 22,2021. Get your binoculars and go on a jungle safari on the Woodland Multi-use Trail and Clubhouse Playground. Happening all week!
Discover Disc Golf on Tuesday & Thursday, March 16th & 18th. We will set up a small course at Sherose Island. Drop in and pick up instructions and the frisbees and you are on your way to enjoying a new sport activity!
Play Leprechaun UNTANGLED! Visit the woods across from the Sherose Island Rocks! Nature Trail (near the parking at the end near the water). Off the road to your right you will see a tree with coloured bows. Follow each colour to it's end and pick and initial a card. (Please leave the cards and pen for others). After you have visited all colours tell us or show us pics of your "hand". Best hand wins a glow stick fun pack!
The Sandy Wickens Memorial Arena will offer public skates on these dates, make sure to call and register:
These aren't Leprechauns to be messing with! Capture the Flag style game with Nerf weapons. Lead your team to a "pot of gold" victory! Bring your own Nerf equipment or borrow ours. We have ammo but just the small stuff. Dress in green and for the weather! This will be held at the Sherose Island Ball Field, March 17th, 1:30-3pm. Recommended ages are 7-13 years old.
