Information

The Louisbourg Road Race Society is an active committee which hosts the Annual Louisbourg Race Through Time (8 mile Road Race) in August and the Louisbourg 5 Mile Slush Run & 3 Mile Walk in March. The details are below for each of these races:

Louisbourg Race Through Time – 8 Mile Road Race:

  • Date: 2017 – Saturday, August 19th; date varies each year
  • Location: George D. Lewis School, Louisbourg
  • Time: 6:00pm in the vicinity of the school
  • Registration: $30/runner; Run NS members receive a $5 discount; Online Registration available at: www.raceroster.com; Pre-registration Deadline: Monday, August 14th at midnight – after this date a $10 late fee applies; Online registration available until Friday, August 18th at noon; No Race Day Registration!

Louisbourg 5 Mile Slush Run & 3 Mile Walk:

  • Date: 2017 – Saturday, March 4th; held the first Saturday in March each year
  • Location: George D. Lewis School, Louisbourg
  • Time: Walk begins at 9:30am & Run at 10:00am
  • Registration: Starts at 9:00am at the school
  • Cost: $10/runner or walker

Awards & hot lunch to follow the race.
