Description & Services

Information

Swim Program encourages youth to stay physically active for life, educates in water safety and rescue, and also helps youth build swimming skills.

Building on Recreation's community involvement, CBRM Recreation has collaborated with community groups in the areas Swim Camp is offered. All swimming locations, waterfront and pools, are safe and suitable for those participating.

“Children, youth and adults of all ages and swimming abilities can benefit from water safety training to help them stay safe in and around the water,” says Aileen Nauss, former Water Safety Advisor for the Canadian Red Cross.
