Volunteer Opportunity Members and volunteers are always welcomed. As a not for profit charitable organization, from the board of directors to sometimes attending the museum when staffing needed, volunteers rule! Membership is only $10.00 per year , admission is free to all.

Description & Services

Information The Debert Military Museum was opened in 1998 to preserve the history of Camp Debert and the significance it played during World War II. 
Dedicated to the preservation of the history and information pertaining to the Masstown area. Programs: Canada Day in the Park, possibly Natal Day as well. 
This museum is located in a barracks hut, and houses a huge collection of WWI, WWII, and Cold War–era military and peacekeeping artifacts, and a Russian photo exhibit. Areas of the museum include a Bunk Room, Army Room, Navy Room, Airforce Room and Chapel Room. 
Since the outbreak of the Ukraine/Russian war, the above mentioned photo exhibit is paused. But a Woman in War Room as been started as well as beautiful felt needled art work including the loan display of a full sized mannequin, poseable in this art as well, by local artisan Lesa Light.
