Information Five Islands Provincial Park is one of Nova Scotia's premiere outdoor destinations, offering spectacular views, overnight camping sites, and hiking opportunities.  
 
Estuary Trail follows a tidal estuary along the East River, then passes through mixed forest on the lower slopes of Economy Mountain, featuring viewing areas and interpretive panels. 
 
Length: two loops, with a total length of 3.1 km 
Permitted use: hiking 
Trail surface: built tread, slight grade, some structures 
Rating: "easy"  
 
Directions: 
Access to the trail can be found at Route 2 to Five Islands Provincial Park; south onto Bentley Branch Road (park road). Continue 1 km to parking area at gate; trail starts on north side of road. Or continue 2.5 km to trail access just past park administration building; trail starts on north side of road. 
 
Other trails in the park include the Economy Mountain Trail and Red Head Trail.
