Information  
The Bridgetown and Area Historical Society owns, maintains and operates the historic James House Museum, a registered provincial heritage property. 
 
We are a nonprofit, volunteer, educational organization.  
 
We believe that history is fun, and that knowing something about it makes us better people and wiser citizens.  
 
We believe that through Bridgetown’s history an endless trail of fascinating stories, entertaining adventures, and instructive experiences can be followed.
