Description & Services

Information The route consists of two narrow, relatively sheltered lakes, that are not connected by a watercourse or portage, requiring a separate launch into each.

Waterloo Lake, the more developed of the two, offers impressive pine and hardwood stands, islands and large boulders to explore.

Shannon Lake is quite narrow and deep, and also has many large boulders along the shoreline. It is the more secluded of the two lakes, with no cabins, and many varieties of waterfowl.

Both lakes offer sandy beaches and an opportunity for swimming at their northern ends.
