Information Located in West Advocate, this provincial park offers a spectacular experience of Nova Scotia's coastline and wilderness, and a 51 km Coastal Trail loop hike and camping trail. There are multiple hiking options with a range in difficulty rating in the park. The Christie Viewpoint trail is a three kilometre loop which ascends through an abandoned farmstead to the lower slopes of the Cape Chignecto Escarpment. It offers excellent views across the dyke lands towards Advocate and along the coastline. 
 
There are several camping options available at Cape Chignecto. Reservations can be arranged online, or by calling 1-888-544-3434 from within North America, or 519-826-5301 from outside of North America. There are no drive up sites available at this park. There are three campgrounds nearby with drive-up sites available: ADDA Fundy Tides Campground (five kilometres from Cape Chignecto), Old Shipyard Beach Campground (eleven kilometres from Cape Chignecto), Glooscap Park and Campground (fifty kilometres from Cape Chignecto).
