Description & Services

Information The Springhill Branch Library was founded in 1968 and is located in the historic Springhill Miners Hall. The library offers several computers for public use and an after hours book return is located in front of the building. The Springhill Branch Library is open 5 days a week. 
As well as a collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and large print material, Springhill Library has audiobooks, DVD's, and graphic novels. To request an item from their collection, search the online catalogue and place a hold. 
 
Services of the library include: free public internet access, Interlibrary Loan, photocopying, printing, and scanning.
Hours Summer Hours (starting on the first Monday in June): 
Mondays: Closed  
Tuesdays: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm 
Wednesdays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm 
Thursdays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm 
Fridays: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm 
Saturdays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm  
 
Winter Hours (starting on the last Monday in September): 
Mondays: Closed  
Tuesdays: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm 
Wednesdays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
