Description & Services
Information Sport and fitness, music and dance, computer and the internet, food preparation and gardening are just a few of the courses offered through the Inverness County Department of Recreation and Community Wellness. Course lengths vary from 4 - 10 weeks or evening workshops.

The Recreation and Community Wellness Department provides services in: 
 
Promoting, developing and coordinating quality culture and recreation opportunities that are challenging, creative and fun.  
 
Facilitating access to continuous learning opportunities, from basic literacy to post-secondary, for adults in the County.  
 
Promoting and enhancing partnership opportunities in tourism and development within the Municipality.
