Information Pinegrove Outdoor Play Association (POPA) Outdoor Rink! 
POPA is a volunteer association providing an outdoor play park in Pine Grove (72 Charlie Lane)  
The Park includes a walking trail, a mountain bike trail, a playground. a concrete pad, that is available for in line skating, ball hockey and ice skating in Winter, a Gazebo for relaxing, a fire place for a BBQ and park benches for your pleasure. 
You can sit in a quiet place to read a book or watch you children and pets play. 
Basketball and hockey nets are in place. Washroom facilities are on site. 
This work has been accomplished with the generous support of volunteers, grants from MoDl, Province of NS, United Way of Lunenburg County and donations of labour, material and cash from residents and business. 
Your name is on a Board of Honor at the park.  
There are advertising opportunities available on the rink boards. Please contact any board member if you have requested or been promised a board, we will arrange a time to meet so you can get your sign up.  
The Association is looking for donations of benches or bleachers, labour and volunteers.  
Last but not least, donations of cash will be most welcome.  
If you have a skill or hobby and you have some time, we welcome your contribution.  
This is a park where everyone is welcome and if you see something you can contribute please go ahead and do what you can whether it is clearing off the pad, picking up around the yard, etc, all is greatly appreciated.
