Description & Services

Information
Mission Statement: Camp Mockingee provides a quality year-round camp facility with accommodation primarily for youth.
Vision Statement: "Camp Mockingee will be known as an attractive, year-round facility situated on 80 acres woodland acres with a lakefront setting. Camp Mockingee supports a wide variety of indoor and outdoor experiences."

Camp Mockingee is a great place to have fun for all ages!

Swimming, hiking, winter and summer sport, campfires! With an enlarged playing field, a beach volleyball court, a basketball court, a great swimming area, shaded meeting areas and nearly 80 acres of woodland it's all here for your group.

Camp Mockingee has been a gathering place for children and adults for 66 years. Scouts, Guides, Cadets, schools, church groups and other youth have been our guests since 1949. All ages, from primary to young adults, have enjoyed our Camp. For adult groups which are looking for a rustic meeting place Camp Mockingee might be the answer for your group - a wedding, family reunion, birthday party, corporate retreat, etc!

Camp Mockingee has undergone extensive reconstruction in recent years. This now completely modernized year-round use facility is larger and includes an expanded kitchen/dining building which can seat up to 120 in the dining area. Six cabins and two heated residential buildings can sleep 96 in the spring, summer and fall while the two heated buildings offer winter accommodations for as many as 48 persons in bunks. Many more have stayed by sleeping in heated basements or outside in snow houses, lean-tos and tents.

Come visit our website for the information about all we offer and can do for you!
