Information  
Purpose 
The Community Trail Funding program supports community organizations in the maintenance and development of trails for public use. 
 
Eligibility 
Eligible applicants are incorporated, non-profit, community organizations with a mandate that includes the development and maintenance of a recreational trail for public use and may include the development and maintenance of recreational trails development by schools and parental support groups. 
 
An organization may apply for both maintenance funding and capital funding in a given year, but must submit separate applications. 
 
Due to the number of specific criteria for eligibility and the scope of the grant, it is strongly recommended you refer to the information provided on the Municipality's website to which this record contains several links to their Grants and Contributions page.

Information and Application Form 
 
Applications must be received no later than 4:00 pm on yearly designated date (generally late February). Incomplete or late applications will not be processed and may be returned unopened.
Dates Grant application deadline is generally late February each year. Should funds remain unallocated following winter application deadline, a second submission deadline is August 1.
