Description & Services
Information The Stewiacke Community Play Boxes have been funded by the Province of Nova Scotia’s Communities, Culture and Heritage Department, and the Town of Stewiacke. They have been set out to promote access to unstructured physical activity and play for all ages, and they’re free to use! The Play Boxes are filled with various types of sports equipment, games and activities at different times of the year for the public to use.
Anyone can use the equipment at Dennis Park and the Stewiacke Recreation Grounds, but it is VERY IMPORTANT that you respect it at all times. Please return the equipment you have used back to the Play Box after you are done using it so others can enjoy it!
Each box has rules and regulations on the inside of the cover to remind users of how to the use the boxes.
If the boxes need attention at any time, please contact Josh or Erin at the phone numbers or emails located on the inside cover of the box.
Have Fun and Enjoy!
If you would like to donate new or gently used equipment to the boxes, please contact Josh or Erin at or
