Description & Services
Information

David was born here in Bridgewater on August 18, 1983. He was an active individual and and enjoyed various sports. After signing up for Little Rocks at the Bridgewater Curling Club, he quickly found himself forming a team and entering bonspiels around the province with his friends.

David was a friend to everyone, enemy to no one. When Dave was diagnosed with cancer, he didn’t back down or feel sorry for himself. An inspiration to everyone he met, Dave’s memory live on in all of us.

The David Atkinson Memorial Bonspiel offers the opportunity for curlers and non curlers to come together, meet new people, have some fun, and raise money for a great cause.

Check out the David Atkinson Memorial Bonspiel Facebook page for information about the event!

The Health Services Foundation of the South Shore is pleased to accept donations on behalf of the David Atkinson Memorial Fund. This fund will be used by our Chemotherapy Department to deliver better care to our cancer patients. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the Health Services Foundation and our mission. Please feel free to call 902-543-8065 or visit us online at www.hsfsouthshore.ca.
