Description & Services

Information Open Arms Ministries is a new church plant under the direction of Faith Baptist Church in Great Village. They aim to make everyone who comes in their doors feel welcomed, encouraged and at home. They have a relaxed and modern style, both with music and environment. There is no strong tradition or ceremony although we believe in order, respect and honour towards our God.

Sunday morning gatherings begin at 10:00 am and end at about 11:15 am. Everyone is welcome to come a few minutes early, grab a coffee, sit down and relax and become acquainted with everyone. During regular Sunday morning gatherings, children ages 0 to 11 are dismissed to Kidz Church.

Open Arms Ministries has several community groups that meet outside of Sunday gatherings:

Gravity is a youth/teen ministry for youth ages 13-18. The goal is to provide a fun and safe atmosphere for teens to hang out, hear a biblical video message, ask questions, be inspired and get to know each other. The evening has fun competitive activities, music and music videos, prizes, testimonies and opportunities to meet Christian teens from other communities. After youth group, teens have the chance to show their musical talent during our Jam Session.

Men's Ministries allows men to spend time with other men: telling stories, doing book studies, skeet shooting, axe throwing, shoveling walkways for those in need, hauling wood and attending men's breakfasts.

Soul Sisters provides support and empowerment to experience freedom to the ministry's women.

Prayer Group meets every second week to pray together.

Community Group meets once a week to discuss the Bible's teachings. It is a safe environment for people to share and ask questions, and offer support.
