Information This June, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg - MODL and the Town of Bridgewater, with support from the YMCA Lunenburg County are participating in the Participaction Community Better Challenge, a physical activity challenge that rallies communities to get moving. 
From June 1 – 30, let’s get active to support our quest to be Canada’s Most Active Community and win $100,000 for local physical activity initiatives. 
Step 1: Register at to win random draw prizes from MODL 
Step 2: Download the FREE ParticipACTION app: and sync your Fitbit, Apple watch, Garmin, etc., if you have one 
Step 3: We are challenging our residents to walk 30 minutes a day but any movement counts like gardening, cycling, housework, sports, dance - just move! 
Step 4: Help us earn the big prize by tracking your activity on the Participaction App OR email weekly minutes to (902) 541-1343 (we can send you a tracking sheet)
