Description & Services
Information | Published in 2019, this best practices guide was developed for the Outdoor Recreation Council of British Columbia. The purpose is to provide guidance for people in outdoor recreation groups and clubs who with to work cooperatively with the Indigenous communities when they are involved in projects in or adjacent to their communities and on the lands associated with those communities. The guide provides guidance information on how best to enhance understanding and awareness, along with various steps to consider when engaging with and building relationships with First Nations. Building on this guide, a webinar is also available on the ORCBC website here. |
