| Information |  Come join us for the Municipality of Barrington’s annual Festival of Lights. 10 days of activities planned to celebrate the Christmas season and kick off start of the commercial lobster fishery in southwestern Nova Scotia. The festivities begin with Turning on the Lights opening at the North East Point Gazebo, which includes lighting the lobster pot tree, an LED Christmas lights exchange where two sets of old incandescent holiday lights can be traded for one LED set, and a fireworks display. Other festivities include a Gingerbread House Contest, ERMES Craft Market, Barrington Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, Christmas House Tour, Kitchen Party, Christmas Tea for Seniors, Christmas Carol Concert, Reindeer Dash 2k and 5k fun runs and more!
