In 1976 the Society restored the old Court House in Guysborough to create a community museum to exhibit objects that help illustrate the story of Guysborough County and its people, and accommodate a visitor information centre for tourists to the area.
Hours June 1 - Aug 31 
Monday to Friday 9-5 
Saturday and Sunday 10-5 
 
September 1 - September 29 
Monday - Friday 10-5 
Saturday - Sunday 10-4 
 
All other times by appointment only.
