Description & Services
Information Our library is part of the Annapolis Valley Regional Library, consisting of a bookmobile and 11 branches dotted along the Valley, from Windsor to Annapolis Royal.
Because we belong to this regional system, items can be borrowed from and returned to any of these branches.
What kind of items? You name it. We have fiction and non-fiction for all ages and all reading abilities including a children's area with books, toys and DVDs and a teen corner.
We have extensive collections of large print books, graphic novels, magazines and Book Club in a Bag kits.
We have children's audiobooks on CD as well as a wide variety of music CDs.
For all those with devices, we have an incredible selection of downloadable eBooks and audiobooks.
And don't forget the staggering variety of movies, TV shows and documentaries on DVD and Blu-ray. Or our Wii and X-box games. We even have pedometers and energy meters for the borrowing.
In addition to our six public computers, we have open wi-fi.
We offer colour printing for 50 cents per sheet, black and white printing for 20 cents per sheet and free scanning.
The Annapolis Valley Regional Libraries offer a wide range of programming.
Arts and crafts, book clubs, social time for seniors and teens, story-time for babies and kids (and parents!), music, games nights, Lego workshops, general information sessions, tech help and much more!
Check out the calendar for current events at your local branch!
*PLEASE NOTE: If local area schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Port Williams Library programs will be cancelled as well.
