Description & Services
Information The Queens General Hospital Auxiliary is a group of dedicated volunteers who work to improve patient comfort and care.

The Gift Shop continues to be managed by the Auxiliary and is doing very well. It has been successful in recruiting additional volunteers, some of which have become members of the Auxiliary.

The Book Rack at the Sobeys store, the Gift Shop and the Hospital Hustle continue to be our major fundraisers.

Proceeds from our fundraisers go towards the hospital to be used for expansion and renovations being done at the Queens General Hospital. The Auxiliary also purchases hospital equipment. We continue to provide our bursaries to high school graduates who plan to take further studies in the nursing field.

Auxiliary members are visible in the community, attending various community events, doing tray favours for patients who are in the hospital over holidays, assisting with the Hospital's Wellness Day, providing refreshments for our Gift Shop's annual pre-Christmas sale and our annual donations to the Legion and the Food Bank.

Meetings The Queens General Hospital Auxiliary meets the first Thursday of each month, except for January, July and August.
