| Information | The Hants County Senior Safety program is here as a guide to help ensure that seniors are able to find the right information and ensure an understanding of that knowledge.  Our Role in the Community The Hants County Seniors Safety Program promotes health and safety services to all seniors in Hants County; free of charge. The goal is to support the well-being, independence, health and safety of our seniors in their homes and in their community. We provide learning opportunities and services referral to increase awareness about health issues, personal safety and home security. Support and Services ~Service referrals and connections to other agencies. ~Offers over 14 presentations covering topics of great interest to seniors. (Complete list can be found on the webpage). ~Home Visits which allow us to review personal and home security. ~Provide the Vial of Life which is designed to speak for you in a medical emergency. We can offer assistance with completing the forms and accessing the program is free of charge. ~Various public events for seniors.
